The video of the trans shooter in Minneapolis recorded before the shooting at the Catholic school. A glimpse into the deep distress that cost the lives of two children.
Yesterday was torn apart by a tremendous piece of news.
In Minneapolis, the elementary school Annunciation Catholic School was suddenly attacked by a young man who opened fire, killing two children and injuring at least twenty more.
The news spread online and through our social media we followed the updates.
This was the second shooting in Minneapolis within 48 hours; another man had in fact killed a person behind Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, also a Catholic school, on August 26.
The Minneapolis attack against the Catholic school
As hours went by it became clear that the shooter fired through the windows of the church housed within the school, where Mass was being celebrated at that very moment.
Thanks to the locked doors and the quick actions of heroic teachers who protected the children, the man failed to carry out the massacre as he had imagined. However, he fatally shot two students, aged 8 and 10.
The man then committed suicide in the parking lot.

The trans killer and the anti-Catholic video
The perpetrator was identified as Robin Westman, 23, from Richfield (Minnesota), with no criminal record. He was a former student of the school and his mother had worked at the institution.
Since 2020, Westman had legally changed his name from Robert to Robin and had begun identifying as transgender.
Authorities confirmed the purchase of three weapons: a rifle, a handgun, and a sawed-off shotgun.
Before the massacre, Westman recorded a deeply disturbing video that we publish below, in which the killer filmed his room and the weapons ready to fire, on which he had engraved phrases and symbols filled with hatred, political and antisemitic references, writings such as “kill Donald Trump now” or “f**** kids.”
The most explosive element, however, is the clear anti-Christian and anti-Catholic hatred of the man.
An image of Jesus is used as a target, on one magazine Westman wrote: “Where is your God?” (showing the inscription while uttering a blasphemy), and on two rifles inverted crosses appeared.
Not surprisingly, the FBI opened an investigation, defining possible motives linked to domestic terrorism but also to anti-Catholic hatred.

Pope Leo XIV expressed spiritual closeness with words of “deep sadness” and condolences through Msgr. Parolin.
With no intention of generalizing, it should be noted that many are pointing out that this is the fifth transgender attacker in just a few years, recalling the previous cases of:
- Snochia Moseley (Maryland, 2018);
- Alec McKinney (Colorado, 2019);
- Anderson Lee Aldrich (Colorado, 2022);
- Audrey Hale (Nashville, 2023);
- Kimbrady Carriker (Philadelphia, 2023)
- Dylan Butler (Iowa, 2024)
