Professor of Clinical Pathology at the Department of Experimental Medicine at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He is the director of the “Systems Biology Group Lab” at the same university and Secretary General of the ISSBB (Italian Society for Space Biomedicine and Biotechnology). Until 2014, he was president of the Scientific Council of the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

FRANCESCO MALASPINA
Associate Professor of Geometry at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Turin, his research focuses on topics in algebraic geometry. In 2016 he published the book God and the Hypercube. A Mathematical Journey through Christianity (Effatà Editrice 2016).

Professor of Philosophy at the Theological Institute affiliated with Genoa of the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy. GIULIA BOVASSI
Professor of bioethics at Universidad Anáhuac (Mexico) and Faculdade Internacional Cidade Viva (Brazil), expert consultant and assistant to an Elected Member of the Chamber of Deputies and expert in Philosophy of Law at the European University of Rome. Author of over 20 national scientific publications, she has collaborated with the National Bioethics Committee (CNB) and was an invited speaker at the United Nations headquarters (NYC) at the Conference on surrogacy organised by the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations.

Fr. MAURIZIO BUIONI
Priest of the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ, he holds a Doctorate in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a Degree in Philosophy from the State University of Perugia. He has taught at the Theological Institutes of Fermo, Assisi, and at the Pontifical Universities Antonianum and Lateranense. He was the first Prefect of Studies at the Studium Theologicum Galilaeae. Author of various books, including Journey through Eucharistic Miracles. The Mystery of Faith up to Carlo Acutis (EDB 2025).

ALESSANDRO PIANA
Holds a degree in Biological Sciences, with a Biomolecular focus, from the University of Milan. For years he has been involved in research and debate on the Shroud, a subject to which he has dedicated the following essays: “Shroud: The Lost Years” (Sugarco, 2007); “The Shroud. A Mystery over Two Thousand Years” (Mimep-Docete, 2015); “Why the Shroud Is Not a Fake?” (Pagliai Editore, 2021); “The Shroud after 1204 and the ‘Lost Years’. An Open Problem between Old Doubts and New Perspectives” (in Marinelli E., “New Light on the Shroud”, Ares, 2024). He has published articles and presented research at major national and international conferences and in 2010 was a member of the International Scientific Committee of the International Workshop on the Scientific Approach to the Acheiropoietos Images, held at the ENEA research centre in Frascati.
