UCCR restarts thanks to its community

uccr website

Thanks to the help of our readers, we have restructured the UCCR website, giving it new capabilities and a new design in a short amount of time. We are now ready to resume daily updates.

A free donation as a token of appreciation for the work we have done over the years in supporting hope, in making sense of the faith that is within us.

Not only did you respond in great numbers, not only did we receive an unimaginable wave of generosity after two long years of suspension, but we only just finished responding to the countless emails of support, thanks, and encouragement that you sent us.

Here’s when UCCR will restart

Thanks to your help, we are finally restarting!

In fact, we were able to quickly launch the necessary revamping of the UCCR website, which has gained new capabilities, increased cybersecurity, a modern mobile version, and a new design that better highlights the passionate work we do.

There is still much to do, but little by little we will fix everything.

As always, we welcome suggestions, advice, and criticisms from our loyal community of readers.

The good news is that the UCCR website will officially resume updates on July 14, 2025.

The Italian version, on the other hand, resumed on November 15, 2024.

In the meantime, you can get accustomed to the renewed sections that characterize the (new) UCCR website, here’s what they are:

The UCCR dossiers, the most important area

We particularly care about our in-depth dossiers, which set us apart from any other Catholic and non-Catholic website in the world.

These are detailed in-depth articles, constantly updated, on specific topics, where every researcher, scholar, journalist, and simple reader can find valuable information always supported by a substantial and authoritative bibliography.

The dossiers can be accessed by selecting the category from the menu at the top, below the characteristic UCCR banner (or in the dropdown menu in the top right corner on mobile).

The categories of the dossiers are as follows:

  • Newness –> dossiers on topics that have characterized public debate in recent years.
  • Faith and Science –> dossiers exploring topics related to the scientific world.
  • Faith and History –> dossiers covering topics related to the history of Christianity.
  • Faith and Historicity –> dossiers addressing issues related to the credibility of Christian sources.
  • Faith and Secularism –> dossiers focused on dialogue with secularized culture.
  • Bioethics –> dossiers supporting the reasons behind an ethics that defends human life and the natural family.

The News from UCCR, our daily blog

A second section, the most visited, is the News.

In it, you can find all the articles published in English.

These are thousands of posts covering various topics that have always been important to us. Through them, we offer news (often exclusive), review the most interesting books, analyze studies and research, and in some way, reflect our worldview.

The interview column

The third section we want to present is the so-called “columns”, recurring feature spaces that are published regularly.

At the moment, the English version includes the Friday interview, where we engage in dialogue and interview specialists from various fields.

It was introduced only in recent years, and we aim to keep it.

The new YouTube channel

As some of you may have already noticed, a section dedicated to videos has appeared on the home page, featuring content from our new YouTube channel.

We started publishing interesting videos with good consistency a few weeks ago. They are in English but subtitled in Italian, as they are also shared on the original UCCR version.

The themes are and will continue to be the same as those addressed on the website, always aiming to provide high-quality service.

We invite you to subscribe to the UCCR channel to stay updated and help us grow on YouTube as well.

Our social media, where to find us

Finally, we highlight our social media presence. Here’s where you can follow us:

For anything, we are available at redazione@uccronline.it, we respond to everyone (sometimes with a few days’ delay), also in English and Spanish.

If you want to support us, you can go to this page, we are grateful! Everything is invested to provide an ever-better service to our readers.

For now, that’s all, we look forward to seeing you Monday, July 14 to start again together!
