The American financier surrounded himself with several figures from the “new atheism” movement.<\/i><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Why did leading figures of the so-called “new atheism<\/strong>“<\/i> associate with Epstein?<\/p>\n Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong><\/mark> was an American financier involved in one of the most serious sexual exploitation<\/strong> scandals of recent decades.<\/p>\n The magnate operated a system of sexual abuse<\/strong> involving underage girls, brought to his residences in New York, Florida, and the Caribbean island of Little Saint James to be assaulted.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What emerges from the “Epstein files”<\/i><\/strong>, published by the U.S. Department of Justice between 2025 and 2026, is that many people frequented billionaire Epstein, his villas, and his private jet, and were certainly aware<\/strong> of the system.<\/p>\n Among the hundreds of individuals appearing in these files, many are there to their detriment<\/strong>, simply mentioned in the financier\u2019s emails. The individuals discussed in this article, however, were all in close contact<\/strong> with Epstein both before and after his conviction.<\/p>\n Epstein was first convicted in 2008<\/strong> for sexual offenses he admitted to, including procuring and soliciting minors for prostitution, and was registered as a sex offender<\/strong> in the FBI database.<\/p>\n Despite at least 36 underage victims being identified, some as young as 14, Epstein received a reduced sentence following a controversial plea deal. He died shortly after being arrested again in 2019<\/strong> on charges of sex trafficking minors.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In addition to politicians and businessmen, Epstein was also linked\u2014surprisingly\u2014to prominent figures in the scientific and academic world.<\/p>\n These were not isolated cases: the financier had developed a true strategy of infiltration<\/strong> into academia, using foundations and cultural intermediaries to pursue an obsessive interest in projects related to eugenics<\/strong>, genetic determinism, and human enhancement.<\/p>\n Many of the individuals he associated with shared a specific form of atheism: anti-theism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n These were well-known advocates of a materialist and openly atheist worldview. Not merely mentioned in the files, the documents suggest a prolonged association<\/strong> even after Epstein\u2019s conviction, as well as a willingness to interact with someone already convicted of serious crimes.<\/p>\n Why<\/strong> create this in-depth analysis, unique on the web?<\/p>\n Because the individuals listed below have consistently devoted large portions of their books<\/strong> supporting “scientific atheism” to highlighting the misdeeds<\/strong> of religious figures in order to justify and promote their worldview. One wonders whether this strategy was also coordinated with their friend Epstein.<\/p>\n Stay updated by subscribing<\/strong> to our new channels:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Among the most discussed names is evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins<\/strong>, author of “The God Delusion” and a symbolic figure of the so-called “new atheism”.<\/p>\n According to recently released emails, in 2014<\/strong> he attended a dinner in Arizona where Jeffrey Epstein was also present, despite being aware of his serious 2008<\/strong> conviction.<\/p>\n Dawkins and Epstein had a personal relationship. The biologist initially claimed he had only limited contact with Epstein, but photos<\/strong> and emails easily contradicted this.<\/p>\n An image was published showing Dawkins aboard Epstein\u2019s infamous private jet, the “Lolita Express”<\/strong>, used to transport his “clients” to Little Saint James, where abuse of hundreds of women and minors took place.<\/p>\n Additionally, an email<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/u> emerged in which the British scientist wrote to his agent saying he had heard the case was \u00abnot as black<\/strong> as it was portrayed\u00bb<\/i>, describing it as a \u00abwitch hunt\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n In 2010, two years after Epstein\u2019s public conviction, the financier received an email<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/u> informing him that several scientists would be present at his Caribbean residence.<\/p>\n Among them, besides the ever-present Dawkins, was Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Weinberg<\/strong>, known for calling religion \u00aban insult to human dignity\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also present was astrophysicist Lawrence Krauss<\/strong>, known for the thesis of a “universe from nothing”.<\/p>\n Krauss was closely linked<\/strong> to Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n According to reports<\/a><\/em><\/b><\/u>, he organized a physics conference funded by Epstein in St. Thomas. Epstein attended with young women, and Krauss and others visited Epstein\u2019s island<\/strong> during the event.<\/p>\n Krauss also received funding<\/strong> from Epstein and defended him<\/strong> publicly after the 2008 conviction, maintaining contact for years.<\/p>\n In 2018, Krauss himself faced<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/u> multiple sexual harassment accusations<\/strong>, leading to his suspension.<\/p>\n Emails show him asking Epstein for advice<\/strong> on handling accusations, receiving guidance to be \u00abcooperative and kind at this stage\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n Epstein also advised issuing a general statement claiming the accusations were false or unfounded.<\/p>\n Feminist Emma Watson<\/strong> commented<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/u>: \u00abEpstein evaded justice for years\u2026 so he certainly knew how to help Krauss<\/strong> get away with it\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n Around the same time, Michael Shermer<\/strong> was also accused of sexual assault<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ron Lindsay<\/strong>, atheist activist and president of the “Center for Inquiry”, also appears in the files.<\/p>\n Emails show interactions with journalists investigating Krauss, involving testimonies of women harassed<\/strong> during events.<\/p>\n Lindsay denied<\/strong> the accusations and even had one accuser fired, later forwarding emails to Krauss, who sent them to Epstein.<\/p>\n Emma Watson stated in a video that \u00abthese scientists<\/strong> didn\u2019t care about leaving evidence because they thought abusing minors was something the rich could do\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Physicist Lee Smolin<\/strong> was another close associate.<\/p>\n Although he claimed no contact after 2008, later files revealed ongoing contact until 2013<\/strong>, including invitations to Epstein\u2019s island.<\/p>\n As a result, he recently stepped back from his position at the Perimeter Institute.<\/p>\n Emails show a close relationship<\/strong> continuing after Epstein\u2019s conviction.<\/p>\n
