Multiple sclerosis opened her eyes to the <strong>essential<\/strong>, finding in prayer <strong>peace and happiness<\/strong> she had never known before.<\/i><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crystals, <strong>astrology<\/strong>, ayahuasca, esoteric rituals, divinatory practices, and even &#8220;channelings&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This was the world of a famous French influencer, <mark><strong>Jos\u00e9e-Anne Sarazin-C\u00f4t\u00e9<\/strong><\/mark>, who ran a thriving esoteric business based on courses, tarot, books, and esoteric spiritual retreats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Then, during a hippie trip to Costa Rica in 2021, fate abruptly brought her back to reality: <strong>primary progressive multiple sclerosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A rare and relentless neurological disease, which <strong>in a short time<\/strong> left her blind, in a wheelchair, and with severe motor limitations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A breaking point that for Sarazin-C\u00f4t\u00e9 became <strong>the great crossroads<\/strong> of her life. On <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leverbe.com\/articles\/portrait\/chasser-la-sorciere-interieure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Le Verbe<\/i><\/a><\/strong> she is described as &#8220;<strong>the witch who became Christian<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A story somewhat similar to that of <strong>Kathy Wolf<\/strong>, whom we talked about <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uccronline.it\/2022\/03\/27\/dalla-disabilita-alla-fede-la-felice-storia-di-kathy-wolf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a few months ago<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The influencer moves from esotericism to Christ<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite growing skepticism, the woman continued to adhere to <strong>esotericism<\/strong> to satisfy her thousands of followers on social media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Her Instagram photos show her amidst nature, always smiling and happy. But she herself reveals how much fiction there was behind these shots: <i>\u00abMany people idealized me, but in reality <strong>I was unhappy and stressed<\/strong> because of my work. I was very focused on appearance and superficiality\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the disease, suddenly, she no longer cared about <strong>zodiac signs<\/strong>, Mercury&#8217;s moods, or the energies of crystals. <strong>False idols<\/strong> that millions of people kneel to and rely on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During an esoteric meditation in a forest, the woman distinctly and suddenly perceived a clear word: <strong><em>&#8220;Pray to Jesus&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>. <i>\u00abIt seemed very strange to me, but I had nothing to lose, so I tried it\u00bb<\/i>, she confesses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus began <strong>an inner dialogue with Christ<\/strong> from which, to her great surprise, emerged <i>\u00aban inner peace like I had never experienced before\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With renewed hope for life, Jos\u00e9e-Anne was able to access a <strong>stem cell transplant<\/strong> that successfully reversed the symptoms of her disease.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But the greatest gift is <strong>the regained happiness,<\/strong> moreover freely. <i>\u00abI learned that Christian faith requires nothing but faith and grace\u00bb<\/i>, she says. <i>\u00abNothing else, <strong>there are no programs<\/strong>, crystals, or miracle products to make you happy. It is completely free\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Illness as circumstance, not as &#8220;bad luck&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Illness is seen by many as <strong>&#8220;bad luck&#8221;<\/strong>, an injustice. Sometimes as an objection to the existence of a good God. For Jos\u00e9e-Anne Sarazin-C\u00f4t\u00e9, it was a blessing, a circumstance for <strong>a greater good<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Certainly <i>\u00abthe illness is very hard\u00bb<\/i>, she recounts, <i>\u00abbut it allowed me to move away from esotericism, to close the business that <strong>was slowly killing me<\/strong>, and to be much more present in my life, in motherhood. Yes, it is difficult, but it changed my life for the better\u00bb<\/i>, aware that <i>\u00abour faith is forged in suffering and purified in trials\u00bb<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The woman, besides dedicating herself to her daughter, continues to manage her blog and videos \u2013 which now have a completely different tone from the past.
